History
The Fort McMurray REALTORS® Association was incorporated in 1984 and has reached our 20th year anniversary as a real estate board in Alberta in 2004. Reaching this milestone is an acheivement that was recently recognized and celebrated by our board , the members and the entire industry in our province. The Association along with all  the Members are working together in the community it represents to ensure the success of our industry and together we will not only survive but will continue to succeed and flourish.

Our Territory
Fort McMurray is the heart of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the largest Municipality in North America. We are a rapidly expanding community approaching 60,000 and growing with youthful, energetic and optimistic people representing the ambiance of the community.Fort McMurray is proud to have the largest oil sands mines in the world. The 2 oil sands plants boast more oil than all the known reserves in the middle east, making the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo a world leader in oil supply. We also currently provide 20% of Canada's domestic oil supply, enabling us to enter the next millennium with a great economic future.
